A dear childhood friend of mine got married this past summer, and I agreed to do some video of their wedding. In between videography, however, I managed to grab a few photos as well.
In October I had the chance to do an at-liberty shoot with a couple of lovely geldings. Diesel, a Quarab and Dee, an Arabian did their best to put on a show for me, and they succeeded!
Chris and Cheryl got married in June, west of Kingston. It was a gorgeous ceremony and reception in a beautiful location with prime photo opportunities!
A friend of mine who is an equine artist (www.meadowridge-art.com) and myself will be displaying our work together at the 18th Annual Inroads Studio Tour in Sharbot Lake on the September long weekend. I will be focusing mostly on showing equine photos, but a few other favourites as well.
If you are in the area, come out and see! Maps are here: www.inroadstour.ca A Preview:

PERTH ROAD, ON: More than 2,000 cyclists took over County Road 10 in June to bike from Ottawa to Kingston. Rest stops were set up along the over 200km route, which cyclists completed in one grueling day. (Meghan Balogh)
ELGINBURG, ON: Richard Cullum visits with an alpaca cria on his farm near Kingston. The Cullums keep nearly 50 alpacas on Evergreen Farm, and sell fleece products in their on-site shop. (Meghan Balogh)
Padre David Donevan recently presented photos and stories of his experiences as a padre at Kandahar Air Field in Afghanistan, where he spent six weeks this past winter.
